For most people, how a 'hack' takes place is a mystery. The truth is, many times it's as simple as trusting the author of an email is who they say they are or downloading an attachment that you shouldn't. It can, and does, cost companies billions of dollars.

The more people know about how hacking takes place, the more likely they will be to thwart potential attacks in the future.
